Graduation Message

With sentiment of gladness, let me convey my warmest and cordial greetings to all our graduates of School Year 2011 – 2012.

To our dear graduates, while you take time to celebrate this most gratifying moment in your life, never fail to extend your expression of gratefulness to the people who have encouraged and helped you in your journey. Your parents who cared and worried for you, your school officials and teachers who guided you, as well as your friends who have shared your hopes.

Your achievement today has carried you into the threshold of what you hope for. Where making the best option to create a better future for yourself and for your family is imperative. Make the best decision! Do not allow yourself to keep afloat and go where the tide brings you.

Life may throw up surprises, When you find things diametrically opposed to what you want yourself to become, hold on to what you believe is the best alternative. Let your newly acquired values, knowledge and skills keep you steadfast until you find your particular niche.

To the administration, faculty and staff of _(name of school)_ , I commend you for a job well done. Another school year of dedicated and concerted effort is accomplished.

To all of you CONGRATULATIONS! May this year’s theme “Your Gift of Learning, Our Tool for Nation Building” echo an impression that our individual and collective abilities are  essential contribution  building a greater nation.

                                      Dr. Eduardo A. Ompad

                                                                             Officer In-Charge
Office of the Schools Division Superintendent

Welcome to the website of DepEd - Division of Lapu-Lapu City!

This website is set up as a support system to keep our city officials, school officials, stakeholders, teachers, parents, and students informed about our strong commitment to promote quality basic education for all.

As the Officer -in-Charge of the Division, I have high hopes that this website will serve as an important venue for sharing accurate data for benchmarking, basic performance indicators, and other essential information with our visitors and broader academic community that we are serving. Likewise, this site features our Citizen's Charter which clearly articulates the values of promoting quality service, social responsibility and high sense of professionalism in dealing with our clients. Different locally-initiated programs, projects and activities that speak much of the division's focus in the pursuit of excellent delivery of basic education services are likewise included.

Further, as our way of responding to the nagging issues and emerging concerns about the performance of our organization in translating policies into results, we welcome the ideas and opinions of everyone, who care deeply about education. The small effort of each one combines to a great contribution towards the improvement of our system. Our only aspiration is that, we all push the same cart at the same time in the same direction. After all, we became more effective, if instead of fighting alone, we get others to fight along with us against the threats of mediocrity and complacency.

In behalf therefore of the entire DepED Family of Lapu-Lapu City, I welcome all visitors to our website with extreme gladness.
